ISGA Student Digital Manager

Description

The Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism at Goshen College supports research, publication, and source preservation that engages global Anabaptism. The ISGA Digital Manager is responsible for adding new material to the ISGA’s online collections; preparing media content for the Institute’s biannual newsletter; and designing interactive, online exhibits that highlight Anabaptist stories.

Expected 4-5 hrs/week. Some possibilities for evening and weekend work.

 

Qualifications

  • Highly organized, pays attention to detail, and regularly checks email.
  • Comfortable working with a range of computer applications and online platforms (including Microsoft products; updating web-sites; social media, etc.).
  • Reliable and self-motivated, can work independently.
  • Strong writing skills, capable of writing in a professional context.
  • Familiarity with basic design principles.
  • Interest in church history, museum studies, theology, communications, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Spanish highly valued.
  • Some photography or photo editing experience preferred.
