Description
The Finance Systems Administrator is the enterprise lead for MCC’s global finance systems infrastructure, responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing integrity of systems that support financial operations across approximately 45 countries. The role carries primary accountability for ensuring global finance systems meet diverse regulatory, reporting, and operational requirements and function reliably across highly varied contexts. Decisions made in this role have organization-wide and largely irreversible consequences.
Qualifications
Essential:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., Sparkrock, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, etc.)
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
· Experience with system implementation, configuration, or data migration, including coordination of processes and user adoption
· Experience identifying and utilizing tools (including AI) to improve financial processes, reporting, and efficiency
· Strong analytical and Excel skills
· Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical expertise
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work effectively across cultures and in a global organization
Preferred:
· Experience with Sparkrock or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
· Experience in Power BI
· Experience in nonprofit and/or international development contexts
· Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-country financial systems
· Combined background in finance and systems implementation
· CPA designation
· Experience with project coordination, process improvement, or organizational change related to system implementation
· Fluency in Spanish or French.
