SOWK 550 Social Policy

This course covers social policy at the local, state, federal, and global levels that affects well-being, human rights and justice, service delivery, and access to social services. Learn the historical, social, racial, cultural, economic, organizational, environmental, and global influences that affect social policy and how they influence service delivery and social work practice. Students gain skills in policy formulation, analysis, implementation, and evaluation as well as engaging and advocating for anti-racist and anti-oppressive policies.
