Students will interpret, create, and value quantitative information in personal, professional, and societal contexts to solve problems, understand phenomena, draw conclusions, and make decisions. The types of quantitative information students will be able to interpret and create include computations, measurements and units, ratios, proportions, rates, estimates, bar charts, histograms, scatter plots, trend lines, linear functions, tables, finances, descriptive statistics, and spreadsheets. Meets the Quantitative Literacy requirement in the Goshen Core.
