This course is for those working on the Healthcare Interpreting Certificate. It continues working on interpreting in more advanced medical settings and increasing medical terminology and interpreting in areas such as cardiology, oncology, surgery, emergency, and mental health appointments. Complex ethical issues will be addressed. This course includes critical analysis of medical discourse with an emphasis on advanced medical conditions, treatments, and procedures. Prerequisite: INT 301 Corequisites: INT 302 and INT 320.
