Students reflect on their work within the Deaf community. Discussion will focus on the implications of language and cultural differences when the Deaf and hearing worlds overlap and the quality of services available for members of the Deaf community. A short capstone paper or project will describe the student’s experience as well as their ideas and goals to improve services for the Deaf community. Coequisite: ASL 409 Internship or SOWK 209 Social Service Field Experience.
