My life has always been involved in the arts. My mother attended John Heron School of Art, my brother taught high school art in Bloomington, Indiana. My stepfather was retired when he taught himself wood carving and Goshen College has one of his carvings in our Reith Recital Hall. I married a photographer and his brother teaches sculpture here at Goshen. I love to attend the student art shows at the end of the year and have several of my favorite purchases in my office and at home. We are in a small town in the Midwest with amazing things happening on campus and in our community in the arts. Goshen College is a creative think tank, whether your passion is art or physics, theater or athletics, we invite you to join us and explore your God given talents.
Hobbies and Interests:
My husband and I love to travel. On our trip to New York we won free round trip Amtrak tickets to anywhere in the US and that took us to Sante Fe, NM. We have 5 children, all college grads, that live in Boston, Chicago, Washington, DC and Madrid, Spain. Those are all great places to visit! Goshen is an active artsy community and we like to bike downtown to First Fridays and to get ice cream at The Chief.
