I was born in Mexico and raised in Northwest Indiana, I am the proud daughter of
Arturo and Maria Antonieta Garcia. I was blessed to receive my bachelor's
degree from the Kelley School of Business in 2002. During the past two
years, I have served as a Graduate Supervisor alongside amazing staffs who
loved working with students. From late night conversations about life's
purpose to Saturday brunches, I greatly enjoyed the past six years of living
in the residence halls and making lifetime memories. In addition to
residence life, I have worked on issues relating to diversity, alcohol
awareness, and social justice.
Hobbies and Interests:
During my personal time, I became greatly involved with a wonderful campus
ministry who has helped me to grow personally and spiritually. They have
become my family away from home and will continue to have a special place in
my heart. I enjoy working out; reading; shopping; watching movies; hanging
out with friends; listening, singing, and dancing to music; napping, as well
as being outdoors. My favorite quote is by Marianne Williamson titled, "Our
Greatest Fear" and closes by stating "As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others."
