Art majors present their work in senior art exhibits

Seven Goshen College senior art majors will showcase their work in the Music Center’s Hershberger Art Gallery between March 9 and April 13.

The Senior Art Show I, open March 9–23, will display the art of Sunday Mahaja, Liz Reese and Jess Sprunger. An exhibit reception including refreshments will be held Sunday, March 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Senior Art Show II, open March 30 through April 13, will display the art of Erin Iverson, Justine Maust, Corey Roth and Phil Scott. An exhibit reception including refreshments will be held Sunday, March 30 from 2 to 4 p.m.

A final combined reception will be held in the gallery on April 26 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Sunday Mahaja, from Lagos, Nigeria, is displaying his paintings and sculpture.

Liz Reese, from Niles, Mich., is displaying her portrait drawings.

Jess Sprunger, from Goshen, is displaying her metalwork jewelry, which incorporates both wood and enamel.

Erin Iverson, from Evanston, Ill., is displaying her street and nature photography. 

Justine Maust, from Lititz, Pa., is displaying both her jewelry and photography.

Corey Roth, from Elkhart, Ind., is displaying his collection of conceptual fantasy paintings.

Phil Scott, from Wheaton, Ill., is displaying his original comics.

The Hershberger Art Gallery is located in the Music Center and is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The building is accessible to people using wheelchairs and others with physical limitations.
