    What you can expect to see/learn/do. . .

    • Learn through field trips, guest speakers, a homestay, readings, journaling, personal reflection.
    • Learn about the way a war-torn past continues to haunt attempts at democratic change.
    • Explore Guatemala City; also spend several days in a small Mayan village near Lake Atitlan.
    • Tour a coffee farm; meet contemporary artists; climb a volcano.
    • Carry out a service assignment in a cross-cultural context.
