  • Pre-Veterinary

    Through our pre-veterinary track, you'll receive excellent preparation for veterinary school while building a strong foundation in biology, chemistry and animal science.

    As a sustainability studies major or minor at Goshen College, you’ll explore what it means to live responsibly—caring for the Earth and its people now and for generations to come.

  • Sustainability Management

    This interdisciplinary program combines core business principles with environmental science and social systems, giving you the insight to understand global challenges and make ethical, impactful decisions.

    Experiential Learning Opportunities

    Start doing science from day one.
    Our students participate in hands-on internships, fieldwork, and research alongside faculty. Internship partners have included:

    • Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center
    • National Park Service
    • Local hospitals and clinics
    • Environmental education centers and summer camps

    You’ll also have the opportunity to present your research at conferences and apply for paid summer research experiences

    Field Stations & Facilities

     

    Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center: Goshen College’s 1,189-acre nature preserve is a living lab for field biology, ecology, and environmental education. You’ll explore prairies, forests, wetlands, and lakes as part of your coursework and research.

    J.N. Roth Marine Biology Station: Located in the Florida Keys, this unique facility allows students to study coral reef ecosystems, marine organisms, and tropical ecology firsthand through our May Term marine biology course.

    Scholarships & Financial Aid

    Goshen College is committed to making a high-quality science education accessible and affordable. All incoming students are considered for academic scholarships based on GPA and test scores, and need-based financial aid is widely available in addition to any science specific scholarships.
