    What you can expect:

    This SST unit provides a broad understanding of the history, life ways and spirituality of the Navajo in the Southwest. Students will gain a fresh perspective on their own country and wrestle with some of its structural injustices. The six-week immersion in Arizona with the Hopi & Navajo Nations includes home stays, interviews, service assignments, hikes and visits to cultural sites.

    This Study-service term is a hybrid format. You must take all three courses to travel.
