Goshen College President Rebecca Stoltzfus recently announced the appointment of Jodi Beyeler as vice president for institutional advancement.

Beyeler, a 2000 Goshen College graduate with a communication major, also earned a Master of Business Administration degree in 2019 from GC. She began her career at Goshen College in 2003 as a writer and photographer in the Communications and Marketing Office and most recently served as the vice president for communications and people strategy since 2019.

“I am grateful for the experience and perspective that Jodi brings to this new role, and her enthusiasm to be more involved in this work. She brings a passion for the college’s mission and culture, and deeply understands our alumni and donors,” said Goshen College President Rebecca Stoltzfus. “We are excited to create new synergies and collaboration by aligning all areas of advancement, which are crucial to take the college to the next level.”

In her new role, which began in June, Beyeler oversees development, alumni relations and communications and marketing.

“Serving Goshen College as the vice president for institutional advancement is an incredible honor,” said Beyeler. “As a proud graduate and long-time employee, I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of this institution. I am excited to collaborate with such a dedicated community to enhance our resources and support for students, faculty and programs. Together, we will build on the college’s rich history and ensure a vibrant future for all members of the Goshen community.”

Beyeler grew up in Kalona, Iowa. She and her spouse Ben, a 1999 Goshen College graduate, have one child, Arthur, and she is a member of Assembly Mennonite Church in Goshen.
