Kinesiology senior projects

In April 2024, seniors completed and presented final projects.  Three students participated in the Academic Symposium.  The seniors designed their own projects with approval of the supervisor.

“The history and culture of European baseball”

“The use of rating of perceived exertion and percentage of one repetition maximum in determining training intensity in resistance training”

“Drop jumps vs. Depth jumps:  Effect of plyometric exercises on vertical jump height and sprint speed”

“Vegetarian vs Omnivore strength improvements”

“Mindfulness and its impact on perceptions of athletic performance”

“The impact of ankle mobility on vertical jump height”

“The contribution of hip, pelvis and trunk range of motion to pitching velocity and stride length in collegiate baseball pitchers”

“The effects of post-activation potentiation on college baseball hitters”

“Integration of technology in soccer”
