Excellent interviewing skills along with a professional résumé are
two important career tools that you should possess before leaving
college. Super Tuesday is an event designed to assist you in developing
these tools.
When you sign up for Super Tuesday, you are matched with a local human resource professional. During your 45 minute appointment, you will participate in a practice interview and have your résumé reviewed.
All students are welcome to participate, regardless of major or class level. Because
we recruit professionals from the community to assist with this event,the deadline to register is approximately two weeks before the event. See dates for 2008-09 school year below:
Fall semester event
November 4 - deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 24
Spring semester event
February 10 - deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 30

Write
your own personal resume, if you haven't already done so. Instructions can be
found in the resume section of the career services web site.
Search for and select a professional position you might apply for
after graduation (or an internship you might apply for during college). Copy and format the job description into a Word document. (Need help finding a job description?)
