Practice interviews & résumé reviews

Excellent interviewing skills along with a professional résumé are two important career tools that you should possess before leaving college. Super Tuesday is an event designed to assist you in developing these tools.

When you sign up for Super Tuesday, you are matched with a local human resource professional. During your 45 minute appointment, you will participate in a practice interview and have your résumé reviewed.

All students are welcome to participate, regardless of major or class level. Because we recruit professionals from the community to assist with this event, the deadline to register is approximately two weeks before the event. See dates and deadlines for 2009-10 school year below:

Fall semester event
November 3 - deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 13

Spring semester event
February 9 - deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 22

How to sign up:

1. Write your own personal resume, if you haven't already done so. Instructions can be found in the resume section of the career services web site.


2. Search for and select a professional position or internship you might be interested in applying for. Copy and paste the entire job description (not just the job title) into a Word document. (Need help finding a job description? Headed to grad school or full-time service?)


3. Email your resume and job description to the Career Services Office at .  


4. Call Megan Bonham at ext. 7547 or stop by the Career Services office in AD 14 to sign-up for an appointment time.
