Luke joined the Goshen College community in September 2022 in a faculty position jointly shared between the Sustainability and Environmental Education Department and the Religion, Justice, and Society Department. His research expertise focuses on the moral, religious, and cultural dimensions of environmental issues, and his teaching spans the fields of environmental studies, religion, ethics, and peace studies. At Merry Lea, he helps facilitate the Sustainability Semester, teaches in the M.A. in Environmental Education program, works with undergraduate students majoring in sustainability studies, and advises graduate researchers in environmental education.
