When she returned to The States, she moved to Indiana to be a horticulturist at the Garbis Arboretum. She worked with sustainable farms in Wabash County from 2011-2022. For the two years before coming to Merry Lea, she was a guide for the Montessori School at WPC and developed their summer Farm School program for 3-12 year olds.

Foy joined Merry Lea as an Environmental Educator in August 2023 and mainly helps with the Nature Preschool program, public programming, and k-12 field trips. Foy lives in North Manchester with her partner and their two kids. As a foodie she loves cooking and fermenting with wild and locally grown meat and produce.
