Melinda joined Merry Lea in the summer of 2023 as our Office Manager – a support role for Merry Lea’s operations and activities. She also manages the Learning Center bookstore and Merry Lea’s library collections (which are part of Goshen College’s Good Library), among varied other tasks.
Melinda’s background ranges from working in the field of fisheries and guiding tour groups at a historic site, to working at desk jobs, livestock care and management on a ranch. When she’s not at work, she enjoys reading, camping, kayaking, sauntering in the woods, practicing her many fiber crafts (such as spinning, knitting, or cross stitch), and volunteering at historic recreation events. She loves to learn, create, travel, and make music with her family!
