About this event

This month at Tales & Trails we will be reading In November by Cynthia Rylant and learn about what animals do in the winter. Some animals migrate, some hibernate and some adapt. Please adapt yourselves by wearing weather-appropriate clothing like warm boots to stay cozy while exploring, discovering and creating along our winter trails!

Hear a tale and hike a trail with your preschooler to discover the natural wonders around you together!  Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different places around Merry Lea.  This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.

Please dress to be outside for each program.

Registration is not required for this event series: you’re welcome to drop in without registering. By registering for this program you are signing up for the Tales and Trails monthly email list, which shares details like upcoming program location and more!

*Please note that you do not need to sign up for every Tales & Trails program in the series.
