Resources for Community Partners

Partnering for Community Impact

The Center for Community Engagement at Goshen College builds ongoing, reciprocal partnerships with organizations working for the common good. We collaborate with both new and established partners to support community-identified goals while creating meaningful learning experiences for students. Through shared projects, training, and place-based initiatives, we aim to deepen relationships and grow lasting impact—together.

The Center for Community Engagement is actively seeking partnerships with organizations to further develop community partnerships based on reciprocity, working with both established and new partners to advance work in the community in the context of our students learning.

Community Partners

Developing Community Partnerships based on Reciprocity

The Center for Community Engagement seeks to further develop community partnerships based on reciprocity, working with both established and new partners to advance work in the community in the context of our students’ learning. We will develop community-engaged learning in two ways:

    1) by enhancing existing partnerships in local and global communities, and

    2) starting a place-based initiative with partners in the neighborhoods of North Goshen and South Central Elkhart

Provide guidance, training, and resources to deepen and widen the work we are already doing with community partners.
