Jimin Seo

Jimin Seo is an active performer, conductor, répétiteur, and collaborative pianist, serving as the visiting assistant professor of music and orchestra conductor at Goshen College. As a conductor, Seo has led performances of major works and new compositions. In 2015, Seo was a finalist in the ACDA Graduate Student Conducting Competition held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her expertise extends to opera, as she has collaborated on major productions with professional artists throughout the United States. As a collaborative pianist, Seo has performed extensively in recitals, concerts, masterclasses, competitions, and opera productions. Seo earned her Bachelor of Music in conducting, with minors in organ and voice, and was awarded high honors at graduation from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. She holds a Master of Music in choral conducting, collaborative piano, and orchestral conducting from the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in orchestral conducting at the University of North Texas.
