Brooke graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007 with a degree in Exceptional Needs Education. She began employment that year as the Mild Disabilities teacher at Model Elementary in Goshen, Indiana where she was employed for 8 years. Brooke received her Masters of Education from Ball State University in 2011 and her PhD from Ball State University in 2022, where she specialized in post-secondary education for students with disabilities. Lemmon has served as the Faculty Athletic representative since 2023. She is married and has three children.
