Westlawn First Floor renovation celebrated by campus

Nov 26 2024

On Nov. 22, the renovated full first floor of Westlawn Hall was opened to campus to enjoy and celebrate. President Rebecca Stoltzfus offered opening words in the Gunden Commons — a new multilevel space for studying, connecting and gathering — before cutting the ribbon and celebrating the official opening. Faculty, staff, retirees and students explored the spaces — including a renovated kitchen, dining hall and a new outdoor dining area named the Miller Terrace — and enjoyed cookies in the new Mark Community Room, which will host meetings and events.  A public ribbon cutting and celebration of the fully renovated building and new Center for Nursing and Public Health will take place in the spring.
