Washington Monthly magazine has once again recognized Goshen College as the top bachelor’s college in Indiana for the ninth straight year.
In the magazine’s 2025 annual rankings, which measure how well institutions contribute to the public good through civic engagement, research and social mobility, GC is also ranked as the #15 among all bachelor’s colleges nationwide.
Along with the school’s overall ranking, Goshen College received top-10 rankings nationally in service, bachelor-to-Ph.D. rates and rates of graduation into the AmeriCorps and Peace Corps.
Over 200 bachelor’s colleges — institutions that offer almost exclusively bachelor’s degrees — are included in Washington Monthly’s rankings. The magazine offers a different perspective on college rankings than other well-known publications, highlighting “contributions to public good.”
Additionally, in the recent U.S. News & World Report rankings, one of the most widely recognized college ranking systems, Goshen College ranked near the top of the list of Midwest regional colleges, earning the #3 rank for best value and the #11 spot overall.
