Connectapalooza!

Oct 08 2024

Connectapalooza! was a night of music, celebration and connection during the October First Friday and Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 4 in the downtown Goshen Theater. The event included concerts by Goshen College’s own Lavender Jazz band, rising singer-songwriter Abbie Thomas and local Spanish rock band Lalo Cura. In addition to free Jojo’s Pretzels, Menno Tea and theater popcorn, a cash bar featured Goshen Brewing Company’s first pints of Broken Shield Amber Lager, brewed in collaboration with the college especially for this year’s Homecoming celebration. Attendees of all ages enjoyed watching senior T Rodriguez juggle, taking photos with Dash and having a caricature drawn by alum Mark Daniels ’00.

During the evening, there was a very special announcement about the launch of the public phase of Connected Cause, a campaign for Goshen College with a goal of $68 million. Learn more about the campaign and the amazing progress so far here.
