Here is a look back at some of the events and content that were shared to help amplify Black voices on campus and showcase Black excellence during the 2024 Black History Month.

Feb. 21: Black History Month Chapel – “It’s About Joy”

The service honored Black History Month in worship, song and stories, and featured the inspiring talent of The Queen Singers, Aja Ellington, Lawrence Giden and main speaker Jesse Loewen.

Feb. 7: Black Student Union Convocation, “Bold, Black and Beautiful”

The Goshen College Black Student Union kicked off the month with a phenomenal and moving convocation title Bold, Black and Beautiful: A Symphony of Artistry and Black Excellence featuring students and employees sharing their experiences here on campus along with performances of poetry and song.
