‘Unexpected Peace’ to premiere in Umble Center
“Unexpected Peace,” a new documentary from Goshen College alumnus Jonathan Bornman ’90, will premiere in Umble Center on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
The documentary follows Bornman’s journeys across cultures to find real-world alternatives to violence. Bornman is a social anthropologist who has worked across 37 countries and four continents, with expertise in nonviolence in Islam, Sufi Islam, missiology, immigration and Christian-Muslim encounters.
Bornman will be introduced at 7 p.m., with the film following. After the showing, there will be a time for audience Q&A.
