Goshen College Music Center, Sauder Concert Hall
The Goshen College Performing Arts Series presents An Evening With David Sedaris on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m.
With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s leading humor writers. Audiences will be captivated by Sedaris’ clever assessment of the mundane and the eccentrics who are inhabiting every nook and cranny of the world. He proves to be a master of satire as he slices through “cultural euphemisms and political correctness” — making him one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.
Sedaris is the author of Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice, multiple collections of personal essays, as well as his most recent book, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, each of which became an immediate bestseller. His live presentation will include readings from unpublished work along with audience Q&A.
To witness the mastery of satire and wit that Sedaris will bring, you will be able to purchase tickets for $75, $65 or $35 at goshen.edu/tickets or at the Box Office, 574.535.7566.
