Goshen College spring musical “Resistance, Revolution, Reconciliation!” set for March 22-24

Goshen College’s theater department is set to host “Resistance, Revolution, Reconciliation!” as its Spring Musical, an ensemble-developed cabaret aimed at captivating audiences with a blend of drama, comedy and delight from March 22-24. This vibrant showcase of theater forms from around the world promises to uplift spirits while exploring profound questions of our time.
Crafted by a team of adjunct professors and local guest artist Marilyn Mason, this production showcases the work of Jonathan Sabo (scenic design) and Tom Myers (choreography), alongside costume design by Mason. Featuring opera, musical theater and 20th-century pop, the musical includes compositions from Georges Bizet, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Black Sabbath, among others.
“Resistance, Revolution, Reconciliation!” is a custom-crafted extravaganza featuring an array of songs, spoken word performances, dances and sketches. Through these artistic expressions, the production delves into themes of strife, oppression and disaster, urging audiences to reflect on pressing issues and embrace resilience in the face of adversity.
This production is designed for audiences aged 13+, as it may include adult themes and language.
