Goshen College is home to a number of nationally recognized facilities, institutes, and centers — each one extending the classroom beyond traditional boundaries and deepening our commitment to passionate learning, global citizenship, compassionate peacemaking, and servant leadership.

Signature Facilities

  • Recreation Fitness Center exterior Goshen College

    Recreational Fitness Center (RFC)

    A dynamic hub for movement, wellness, and campus recreation. The RFC includes an indoor track, weight room, fitness center, pool, racquetball courts, and more — open to students, employees and community members.

  • Performance in Sauder concert hall

    Music Center

    Recognized nationally for its acoustics, Sauder Concert Hall is the crown jewel of the Goshen College Music Center. The Music Center also houses rehearsal spaces, recording studios, and classrooms that inspire artistic excellence and community connection.

  • Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center

    Located just 35 minutes from main campus, Merry Lea is a 1,189-acre nature preserve and field laboratory where students study sustainability, ecology, and environmental education — from undergraduate research to a master’s degree in environmental education.

  • Westlawn Building on Goshen College Campus

    Westlawn Center for Nursing and Public Health

    Our newly renovated facility includes simulation labs, exam rooms, classrooms, and collaborative spaces designed to prepare the next generation of compassionate healthcare professionals. Located in historic Westlawn Hall.

    J.N. Roth Marine Biology Station

    This Florida-based facility gives Goshen students direct access to the ecosystems of the Gulf Coast. Used for marine biology field courses and ecological research, it’s a key part of GC’s commitment to immersive science education.

  • Mennonite Historical Library (MHL)

    One of the world’s most comprehensive collections of Anabaptist-Mennonite materials, the MHL supports student and scholarly research on peace traditions, religious history, and global Anabaptism — housed right in the Harold and Wilma Good Library.

  • Students at the Globe

    Center for Communication Studies

    Opened in 2020, the Center for Communication Studies at Goshen College brings together the award-winning television, radio, print and other media curriculars under one roof.
