Finance Intern

Your Challenges…

– Process financial transactions: Enter data into the accounting ERP, process vendor invoices, and manage payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
– Maintain financial records: Verify, code, and post business transactions while keeping financial files, ledgers, and databases accurate and up to date.
– Reconcile accounts: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
– Ensure compliance and accuracy: Perform all financial activities in accordance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company regulations.
– Assist with audits: Gather, organize, and provide documentation and reports to support internal and external audit requests.
– Archive: Maintain a well-organized archiving system for invoices and all supporting financial documentation.

Qualifications

Let’s Talk About You…

– Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
– Experience with ERP accounting systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar preferred).
– High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Google Workspace tools.
– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
