Annika Alderfer Fisher came in eighth out of ten in the finals of the women's mile, an All-American finish. Her time of 4:59.55 was just 0.12 seconds off from her school record of 4:59.43 set in February at the Friday GVSU Big Meet. Alderfer Fisher earned one point for the Leafs by placing in a race where four of the ten runners came from Indiana schools.

In the men's mile, Matthew Keitany used a late push to finish as the National Runner-Up and an All-American. His time of 4:08.45 crushed his school record time of 4:12.02. It is the fourth time the school record for the men's mile has been broken since the start of December 2023. Keitany was only behind Luca Santorum from Cumberlands, who had a time of 4:06.86. Keitany earned eight points for the Goshen men.

Next was Mercy Chebet in the women's 5,000 meters. She also became an All-American with a third-place finish in the NAIA and a time of 17:28.64. Her time was a personal best and added six points to the Goshen women's total, leaving them at seven overall.

Last to compete for Goshen was the men's distance medley relay team of Drew Hogan, Kevin Liddell, Jacob Friesen and Mathew Keitany. The group posted a 10:10.49 time, earning them a sixth-place finish and a spot ahead of conference foe Marian. Goshen earned three points for the result to boost the men's team total to 11.

The men's team finished tied for 27th out of 67. The women were tied for 32nd out of 60. The outdoor track & field season will start on Friday, March 22, at Murray State for the Margaret Simmons Invite.
