Fair Trade Coffee Trip to El Salvador

U.S. and El Salvador citizens crossed boundaries to see their connections in commerce through coffee consumption in Las Colinas. The Goshen College group traveled with an interfaith delegation coordinated by Equal Exchange, the largest fair trade coffee company in the U.S., which partners with denominations to do education about how churches can extend their interest in service and concern for brothers and sisters in Christ around the world by considering fair trade purchases. Many congregations among these denominations now use fair trade coffee for their fellowship hour beverage of choice.
