During Goshen College’s Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 6-8, the college honored five outstanding alumni with awards for their commitment to the college’s core values.
During Goshen College’s Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 7-9, the college honored four outstanding alumni with awards for their commitment to the college’s core values.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, Alice Gunden Bender ’80 and Ken Pletcher ’70 were honored with the Champions of Character awards. The Goshen College athletic department also honored two pioneers who dedicated their lives to student-athletes with the renaming and dedication of the Dr. John Ingold Athletic Complex and the Dr. J. Harold “Sarge” Yoder Baseball Field (read more).
On Friday, Oct. 2, Goshen College honored five outstanding alumni with awards for their commitment to the college’s core values.
Goshen College alumni and friends were warmly invited back to campus for Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 3-5, 2013. In addition to reuniting with classmates, highlights of the weekend included Alumni Awards, Lavender Jazz at Goshen’s First Fridays, book signings, Ultimate Frisbee, class reunions, an alumni picnic and the Homecoming Music Gala.
