A fun-filled weekend for junior and senior high school students living over 100 miles away to engage with campus and our local community! All meals and lodging are provided by Goshen College, along with financial assistance for the cost of travel.
John Hendrix is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator. His newest book, The Holy Ghost: A Spirited Comic, came out in 2022 from Abrams ComicArts. He is the Kenneth E. Hudson Professor of Art and Chair of the MFA in Illustration and Visual Culture program at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.

Laura Smith, a co-host of Michiana’s Morning News throughout the week at 95.3 MNC and the weekly host of “The Way Home with Laura Smith,” will be the Umble Master Class presenter at Goshen College on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Goshen College will be hosting the Mennonite/s Writing Conference IX from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2, 2022. Over 55 participants will offer twenty sessions that cover both creative and critical presentations representing the broad field of writing.

His playing skillfully fuses the rhythm of his Puerto Rican heritage with the complexity of his jazz influences: Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, as well as his older brother, Charlie Palmieri.
