Goshen College welcomes new employees for 2020-21

Goshen College welcomed new employees for the 2020-21 school year, some of whom were hired and began their duties earlier this year.

New teaching faculty:

Brianne Brenneman is a visiting assistant professor of public health. She is a 2016 Goshen College graduate with a degree in biochemistry and business, and earned a master of public health degree in health behavior and health education from the University of Michigan in 2019.

 

Robert Brenneman is professor of criminal justice and sociology. He is a 1997 Eastern Mennonite University graduate, and earned a master’s degree in 2005 and doctoral degree in 2009 in sociology from the University of Notre Dame.

 

Amy Budd is assistant professor of theater. She is a 1995 Indiana State University graduate and earned a master of fine arts degree in theater from Purdue University in 2016.

 

Lisa Helfrich is assistant professor of nursing. She holds a nursing degree from Southwestern Michigan College and a master’s degree in nursing education from Western Governors University.

 

Jessica Lala is assistant professor of social work. She is a 1998 Goshen College graduate with a degree in social work, and earned a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University South Bend in 2008.

 

Katie Schramm is assistant professor of nursing. She is a 2002 Calvin College graduate and earned a master of science in nursing degree from Goshen College in 2016.

 

H. Roz Woll is assistant professor of music. She is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, and earned a master’s degree in music from Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University in 2005, and a doctoral degree in vocal performance and African studies from City University of New York Graduate Center in 2014.

 

New administrative faculty or staff (.5 FTE or higher):

Cynthia Kauffmann, library services assistant. Kauffmann is a 1979 Goshen College graduate.

 

Bonnie Beachy, printing and mailing services manager. Beachy is a 1998 Goshen College graduate.

 

Mara Beck, coordinator of student involvement. Beck is a 2019 Goshen College graduate.

 

Phil Brown, residence life coordinator.

 

Kristen Burkholder, physical plant lead custodian.

 

Kent Dutchersmith, ECoSistema teaching artist. Dutchersmith is a 1990 Goshen College graduate.

 

Kaeli Evans, Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center farm manager. Evans is a 2013 Goshen College graduate.

 

Elena Fischer, Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center communications and marketing specialist/environmental educator.

 

Lindsay Good, cashier and accounting assistant.

 

Trisha Handrich, major gift officer. Handrich is a 2011 Goshen College graduate.

 

Hillary Harder, Community School of the Arts and ECoSistema program director. Harder is a 2015 Goshen College graduate.

 

Emma Henderson, ITS operations and support specialist. Henderson is a 2020 Goshen College graduate.

Kris Polega, campus safety officer. Polega is a 2006 Goshen College graduate.

 

Nasim Rasoulipour, admissions office assistant. Rasoulipour is a 2020 Goshen College graduate.

 

Linda Sanders, payroll specialist and human resources assistant.
