"Come on down you're the next contestant on The Price is Right!"

A Goshen College soccer player heard that call.

Life is pretty much back to normal for Londyn Fease, a sophomore at Goshen College.

The Plainfield, Indiana native is studying elementary education and plays on the women's soccer team.

The entire team attended pre-season soccer games in California before classes began. During an off day, they attended a taping of The Price is Right.

“The producer then picks people to go up on stage or to compete to go up on stage. And after our whole team was interviewed, I was the person that they happened to pick. So I got to go up to competitor's row and compete,” said Fease.

She says her selection to be picked for the show came completely out of the blue and was unexpected, but she knew she had the backing of her teammates, however things turned out.

“There were 22 of us there in the audience. We were all in the same tie dye shirts, so everyone knew we were together. And as soon as I got picked every one of my teammates just stood up and roared. Everybody was so excited,” said Fease.

She says being on the show gave her a lot of great memories.

“It was just a whirlwind of craziness and I honestly didn't know what to think. It was just pure excitement, kind of a little bit of shock, but it was overall, an awesome experience,” she said.

The Price is Right rules won't allow her to say what happens in Friday's episode.

You can tune in to find out for yourself. The show starts at 11 a.m., right here on WSBT 22.
