Goshen College students give back to the community

GOSHEN — Hundreds of Goshen College students fanned out Wednesday to give back to the community.

It was part of Goshen College's Community Engagement Day.

Students and faculty volunteer their time for projects at nine different non-profit agencies in Elkhart and Goshen.

“It’s just helping to give back to the community, we go around town and we, help; at little various places like today, we are just picking pick up all the vegetables, pulling out weeds. Getting rid of the corn, it’s an awesome day,” said freshman, Robert Warrick.

The college has been reserving a day for students to serve the community for the past 18 years.
