Write on Sports, which one Goshen seventh-grader described as the “best camp ever,” is accepting applications from students who will be entering seventh and eighth grades. The second annual Write on Sports camp will be held at Goshen College from July 7 through 18.
Goshen College recently recognized 260 students for excellence in academics on the 2013-14 spring semester Dean’s List. The Dean’s List includes students earning at least a 3.75 GPA, while completing at least 12 hours of course work for a letter grade. Only grades from the designated semester are included in the Dean’s List selection process.
The Goshen College Athletics Department released a new set of athletic logos at a campus ceremony Tuesday afternoon.

Three Community School of the Arts youth choirs will hold open auditions for new members in rising grades 3-12 on Sunday, May 18 from 2-4 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center.
On Saturday, May 17, Goshen College will host two family sing-alongs planned especially for young children (birth–age eight) and their families. Families may choose to attend either of these identical free events at 9:30 or 11 a.m. in the GC Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall.
Sixteen Goshen homes underwent repairs ranging from landscaping to roof repairs, thanks to help from Goshen College students, church groups, businesses and others in the community.
Phil Keaggy, multiple Dove award-winner and perhaps one of the most admired guitarists in music today, will give a benefit concert in the Goshen College Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall on Friday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from this family-friendly event will go to support MDC Goldenrod’s work providing services to individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities.
