Koop currently works for the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago. In her role as associate director of legal services, she helps individuals navigate the legal system, and advocates for systemic changes to the federal legal system.
The Indiana Broadcasters Association named Goshen College’s radio station, WGCS-FM (91.1, The Globe), “Station of the Year” on Nov. 9 at the 26th annual Spectrum Awards in Indianapolis.
Olivia Ginn knows what it takes to realize a dream. Ginn, a Goshen College sophomore psychology major from Noblesville, Ind., was among 31 first-generation students from Indiana’s independent colleges and universities to be celebrated at the 24th annual “Realizing the Dream” banquet on Nov. 9 in Indianapolis.
OVER THE PAST DECADE the The Globe has solidified itself as one of the top college radio stations in the nation, earning the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System’s top honor of “Best College Radio Station in the Nation,” two out of the past three years. This past weekend The Globe staff was awarded the distinction of “Station of the Year.”
