The annual college rankings are out, and Goshen College is again among the best U.S. colleges on many lists, including U.S. News & World Report, Washington Monthly and Forbes.

Kansas organist Carrie Groenewold will open Goshen College’s inaugural Rieth Chamber Series with an organ recital in Rieth Recital Hall on Sunday, Sept. 15. The concert begins at 4 p.m. and will be performed on Goshen’s acclaimed Taylor and Boody pipe organ.
From Sept. 20 to 22, Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College will host the annual Autumn Hope Conference, titled “Native Place: Disruption and Healing.” The weekend conference will take the long view of immigration and examine the impact of different people groups on the landscape.
Goshen College welcomes new employees for the 2013-14 school year, some of whom were hired and began their duties earlier in the year.
AlgaeTown was conceptualized four years ago as an effort to find an easy and efficient way to produce algae, which can be harvested for use in biofuels, pharmaceuticals and even food. For years, algae has been rumored to be the fix for many of our global energy problems. The Algaetown team believes they are getting closer to making that a reality.
