Senior Exhibit I – 2013

Reception: Sunday, March 2, 2:00-4:00 pm, Hershberger Gallery.

Seniors Emma Brooks, Abe Stucky, Laurel Woodward, and Meredith Anne Ebersole will present artwork in an exhibit that is the culmination of their studio work at Goshen College.

Emma Brooks is a senior art major from Littleton, Colorado, with a focus on graphic design. Her work combines typography and illustration to create functional graphic pieces for everyday use. She hopes one day to establish her own graphic design and branding firm.

Abe Stucky is from Pittsburgh, PA and will graduate with a double major in both art and physics. Prior to attending Goshen College, Abe had no exposure to ceramics, and he has thoroughly enjoyed the functional applications of the medium. One of Abe’s passions is biking; next year he plans to bike from Paraguay back to Goshen with three other friends (learn more at panamericacycle.wordpress.com). After the bike trip, Abe hopes to go onto graduate school in either architecture or mechanical engineering.

Laurel Woodward is a senior art major from North Newton, Kansas with a focus in figure drawing. She regards the figure as a deeply emotional and vulnerable form. Her work is inspired by personal and collaborative experiences.

Meredith Anne Ebersole grew up here in Goshen. She will graduate Goshen College with a major in Art and a minor in Graphic Design. After graduation, she would like to explore her interest in video production and creative direction in the film and music video industries. She loves live music, travel, sushi, city life, and learning about different cultures.
