Doug Yoder is a renaissance man with an abundance of skills and interests. Doug taught art at Goshen High School for 20 years, then switched to coaching at Goshen College. He was the head coach for men’s and women’s cross country and men’s and women’s track and field. In this capacity, he has coached 43 All-American athletes and six national champions. Doug is on the board at the City of Goshen Parks and Recreation and organizes weekly community runs.
Doug’s interest in art continues. He has his own pottery studio. When freshmen arrive at Goshen College, they receive a mug handmade by Doug to welcome them. He also enjoys photography and painting. Golf, biking, running and reading fill the remainder of his time.
