Merry Lea Nature Explorers is a brand new chance for elementary-aged
students to get outside and engage in the habitats and landscape across Merry Lea. Once a month, we’ll explore a new ecosystem and uncover the animal and plant residents through games, activities and trail investigations.
Time: 9 – 11 a.m.
Cost: $3.50/child per program

Put on your grubby clothes and shoes, and join us to explore firsthand what lives in the aquatic ecosystems of Merry Lea, including a vernal pond, wetland and lake.

Descend into our gravel pit and hike along a glacier-made hill! Rock out about rocks and geology in this hands-on hike.

- Fabulous Farm
Get up close and personal with your food! Harvest delectable treats, brush some goats and survey the pollinators that are essential for nearly every bite that comes from our gardens.

Merry Lea cares about the safety of our guests and staff. To protect our youngest learners, we ask all participants to join Merry Lea staff in following these policies:
- All participants including children ages 3 and older are required to wear face masks for the duration of the program
- Maintain 6 feet of distance whenever possible
- Self-screen before arrival and continue rigorous handwashing
