About Rock Cycle

Students will dig into northeastern Indiana’s rich geological history! Students will discover the impact glaciers had on this area as well as seeing glacial activity up close. They will hike down an esker, move through layers of top soil and glacial till until they reach a peat bog, explore and identify rocks in an abandoned gravel pit, and use models to understand how glaciers changed Indiana’s landscape.
