Join us and learn how to safely preserve food in jars by canning. We will discuss the science of canning, processing times, and important techniques to ensure safe food preservation. Build your canning confidence as we walk you through the steps involved with water bath and pressure canning. Participants will leave the workshop with samples of food they have helped preserve! This program is intended for adults. No prior canning experience is required. The cost is $15 per person. Registration is required by July 10th.
