Firsthand Fest

This storytelling event provides an opportunity to hear from people who have experienced environmental problems – and solutions – firsthand. An open mic period will enable attendees to share their own experiences as well. The evening includes brick oven pizza and a variety of desserts. Cost: $10/adults and $5/students. Please register by Wednesday, September 27th.

  • Stories from a Noble County Farm – Teresa Akey, CreAkey Acres Farm
  • Stories from the Elkhart River Watershed – students from Merry Lea’s Sustainability Leadership Semester
  • The Importance of Traditional Ecological Knowledge – Dave Ostergren, Director of the Graduate Program in Environmental Education at Goshen College
