Enchanted Forest

What does a snapping turtle eat? Do flying squirrels really fly? Find the answer to these questions and more at Merry Lea’s annual Enchanted Forest! You won’t want to miss one of the only opportunities in the year to hike the trails at night! Guides will lead groups by lantern-light to find and interact with real “live” animals. Our costumed staff and volunteers will answer questions about life as an native Indiana animal. This family-friendly evening is a great alternative to Halloween events too scary for young children.

Hikes are every 20-30 minutes and you can enjoy music and snacks while you wait. Cost is $3.50 per person. No registration required.

Don’t miss the chance to talk to a deer, bat, spider, toad, turtle, and more!
