The part time clerical employee will be responsible for assisting in office supply ordering and inventory, assisting in accounts payable, attendance program, filing and miscellaneous clerical duties. This position will assist the South Bend Police Department financial specialists in the Logistics Division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory and ordering of office supplies.
- Assist with Accounts payable.
- Assist with attendance program.
- Assist with overtime entry preparation.
- Filing of PD financial documents.
- Typing and computer work.
- Answering phone systems for Logistics Division.
- Scanning and archiving of documents.

Greeting employees coming to Logistic Division and assisting with giving out supplies.
Computer and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, VOIP phone systems, and other miscellaneous office equipment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee must be able to stoop or crouch accessing records in file cabinets. Specific abilities required in this job include good vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work is performed mostly in office settings, with moderate inside temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office. Entire office is smoke free.
