Admissions Operations Coordinator

Goshen College invites applicants for the position of Admissions Operations Coordinator, with primary responsibility for processing all Goshen College applications and required supporting documents while maintaining data accuracy. The Admissions Operations Coordinator is also responsible for daily mailings and general operations support within the office.

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE non-exempt position that pays $12.50 per hour.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Application completion process (50%)
  • Communication flow (30%)
  • General Admission Operations support (20%)

Education and Experience

Required:  Associates degree or equivalent experience with data management and business operations.

Preferred:  Two years prior experience in higher education, preferably in the area of enrollment.

Skills

Required:

  • Experience in data management
  • Self-motivated. Ability to work to established deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail. Accuracy in word processing and data entry
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy; experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Possess high integrity and ethics in working with all student data. handle sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner
  • Customer-service orientation and creativity in problem solving
  • Commitment to teamwork and mutual support of others in the office
  • Embraces the mission, vision, and core values of Goshen College and GC Admissions

Preferred:

  • Experience working in an admission/sales/marketing context, particularly in a college or university setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Special Requirement:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, committed to being present during high peak times; some evenings and Saturdays may be required
